Tribies eSIM Family Data Pooling Service

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.


1. Overview of Services

Tribies is a reseller platform that provides access to eSIM data services through third-party eSIM providers and telecommunications network operators. We offer:

  • Shared data pools for families and groups
  • Multiple eSIM profiles under one account
  • Prepaid data packages with regional coverage
  • Self-service management dashboard and mobile app
  • Optional automated top-up features

Important: We are a technology platform and reseller only. We do not own or operate any telecommunications networks or eSIM infrastructure. All connectivity services are provided by third-party providers whose terms and conditions also apply to your use.


2. Account Registration

Account registration is optional. You may purchase as a guest or create an account for easier management of multiple eSIMs and order history.
If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring your email address remains current and accessible

For business accounts, you may designate additional users, for whom you are also responsible. You may delete your account anytime by contacting [email protected].


3. Reseller Relationship and Third-Party Services

We Are a Reseller: Tribies acts solely as a reseller and technology platform. We purchase eSIM services from third-party eSIM providers who, in turn, contract with telecommunications network operators.

Third-Party Responsibility: The actual eSIM profiles, mobile data connectivity, network coverage, and telecommunications services are provided by third-party eSIM providers and network operators. We have no control over:

  • Network coverage, availability, or quality
  • Data speeds or connection reliability
  • eSIM activation or provisioning systems
  • Network operator policies or restrictions
  • Service interruptions or outages
  • Compatibility with specific devices or carriers

Third-Party Terms Apply: Your use of eSIM services is also subject to the terms and conditions of our third-party eSIM providers and their network operators. By using our Service, you agree to comply with all applicable third-party terms.

Limited Liability: Tribies provides eSIM plans through third-party telecommunications networks. While you should contact us at [email protected] with any service issues and we will work to assist you, we cannot guarantee resolution as network performance and coverage are controlled by wholesale providers.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate issues and may offer refunds, credits, or alternatives at our discretion for verified service failures. However, we are not liable for network coverage gaps, connection quality, outages, or other issues stemming from third-party infrastructure.
Our total liability for any service-related claims shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected plan.


4. Data Pooling and Service Features

Shared Data Pools: All data packages purchased on your account are combined into a shared pool accessible by all eSIM profiles on your account.

Minimum Increments: Data is sold in minimum increments that vary by region (typically 1GB or 3GB). You cannot purchase amounts smaller than the minimum increment.

Multiple eSIMs: Each account may activate multiple eSIM profiles, all drawing from the same shared data pool. The primary account holder is responsible for all usage by all eSIMs.

Validity Period: Data packages have a specified validity period that begins when you first use data after activation. Each new package purchase extends your validity period.

Expiry: When your data is exhausted OR your validity period expires (whichever comes first), your service will terminate. Unused data at expiry is forfeited without refund.


5. Payments & Billing

Payment Processing: All payments are securely handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full payment card details.

Prepaid Service: Tribies operates on a prepaid basis. You must purchase data packages before use.

Pricing: Prices are displayed in EUR or USD and may change without notice. Updated pricing applies to future purchases only.

Automated Top-Up: You may optionally enable automated top-up, which authorizes us to automatically charge your saved payment method when your data pool reaches 10% remaining. You can disable this feature at any time in your account settings. Automated top-up will automatically disable after 90 days or four automatic purchases, whichever comes first.

Refunds: Charges are non-refundable once an eSIM has been activated and data has been consumed, except where required by law.

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal: If you are an EU consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase. However, this right is forfeited once you activate your eSIM and begin using data, provided you gave express consent during purchase.

Billing Disputes: Contact [email protected] within 60 days of any disputed charge.


6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tribies services in compliance with all applicable laws and only for legitimate personal use. You may not:

  • Use the service for illegal activities, spam, fraud, or malicious purposes
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or network services
  • Resell or redistribute eSIM services without authorization
  • Use the service for commercial purposes (public hotspots, commercial servers, reselling bandwidth)
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access our source code
  • Violate any third-party eSIM provider or network operator terms of service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts.


7. eSIM Compatibility and Activation

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring your device supports eSIM technology and is unlocked (not carrier-locked). We provide compatibility information, but ultimate responsibility lies with you.

No Compatibility Guarantee: We do not guarantee compatibility with all devices, operating systems, networks, or geographic locations.

Activation Support: We provide installation guides and email support, but we cannot provide device-specific technical support beyond eSIM installation instructions.

One Device Per eSIM: Each eSIM profile can only be installed on one device at a time.


8. Data Protection and Privacy

Minimal Data Collection: We collect and store only essential information needed to provide the service:
- Email address (for account creation and communications)
- Payment information (processed and stored by Stripe, not on our servers)
- eSIM usage data (provided by third-party eSIM providers)
- Account activity logs

GDPR Compliance: As an EU-based company, we comply with GDPR. You have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.

Data Retention: We retain your email address and account information for the duration of your account plus 90 days after termination, unless legally required to retain longer.

9. Intellectual Property

Tribies and its licensors own all rights to the service, platform, software, and content. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or use our branding without authorization. Your limited license to use the service is revocable and for personal, non-commercial use only.


10. Termination

By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. All unused data and validity periods will be forfeited without refund (except as required by law).

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, payment failures, or legal/regulatory requirements. If terminated, you will lose access to all remaining data balances without refund.


11. Disclaimers and Warranties

AS-IS SERVICE: The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Availability in specific locations or compatibility with specific devices
  • Network coverage, speed, or quality
  • Accuracy of coverage maps or service descriptions
  • Security or privacy of wireless transmissions

Third-Party Services: We make no warranties about third-party eSIM providers, network operators, or their services. All third-party services are provided "as is" by those providers.

No Emergency Services: Our service does not provide access to emergency services (911, 112, etc.). You must have alternative means to contact emergency services.

EU Consumer Rights: If you are an EU consumer, you retain all mandatory statutory rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms.


12. Limitation of Liability

Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service will not exceed the greater of (a) €50, or (b) the amount you paid to us in the past 6 months.

Excluded Damages: We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.

Third-Party Failures: We are not responsible or liable for any failures, errors, interruptions, or issues caused by third-party eSIM providers, network operators, payment processors, or other third-party services.

Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

EU Consumer Rights: If you are an EU consumer, this limitation does not affect your mandatory statutory rights under consumer protection law.


13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government actions, telecommunications outages, third-party service failures, or acts of God.


14. General Provisions

Modifications: We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. You may terminate if you disagree with material changes.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tribies.

Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. We may assign to affiliates or successors with notice.

Language: These Terms are drafted in English. If translated, the English version prevails except where consumer protection law requires otherwise.

By creating an account, purchasing data packages, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
